This is a project designed by Frankie Grixti, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, that aims to be a resource for anyone who is seeking out easy-to-use information about the field of psychology, mental health, and therapy. If you are a therapist, a client, a student in the field, someone interested in receiving counseling services, or just someone looking for some extra help and tips for DIY strategies of managing your daily life, then this website is for you. Stick around and get involved!
I do not aim to be a textbook or an encyclopedia resource. Dense research-based information is already available on the web, and this type of information is super valuable. However, it can be written in a scientific language that makes it difficult to understand and quickly use. This project is user-friendly, pragmatic, and easy to apply on the fly.
As this website develops, you’ll find more useful information and practices that can be used in a clinical setting or at home by yourself and with your family.
